Callan (b. 1999) is a multimedia artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He was a founding programmer for the queer moving-image collective Seen that programs, screens, and compensates underground work by emerging artists throughout the Midwest. He has also programmed the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival (MUFF) and holds a BFA in Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. His work has been exhibited in books, film festivals, and galleries across the US and lives in the collections at the MoMA. He has curated photography exhibitions in Brooklyn and currently works in the studio of artists Barbara Curej + Lindsay Lochman.
